about

Golden Threads, plays with archetypes of the psyche
found in or reflected upon the natural world. The spider weaves
interconnection, omniscience & peripheral focus, being
the storyteller & the trickster. The woodpecker reflects
a certain polarity to this. linear / non-linear, direct / indirect
in it’s magical nature. one-pointed, determined focus
set on belonging, & discovering what is at the heart
...of each seed. But we wield our powers to an excess where
magic becomes manipulation. We forget where we come
from & why we do what we do. This music is a direct / indirect
dedication to our balance between deep focus & wide perspective.
Nature is always my favorite muse, discovering ourselves over
& over in this magical web of meaning.
